The Wedding

On Saturday, September, 28th 2019, my husband and I stood in front of our closest family and friends and exchanged the most heartfelt wedding vows written. This was our second time making this commitment between the two of us and God. This time with the people we consider closest to us. FINALLY our wedding day! It was a day filled with numerous emotions: happiness, excitement, nervousness, and a bit of raw reality.

This was a moment that I feel marked a turning point in which I learned to let go of worry and stress and just how important my family of 4 really is to me. From this moment I learned to enjoy life to the fullest. It was also a time when I actually stopped to the smell the roses enjoy the people around me that cared for the both of us and our two children ignored any distracting noises. Nothing could ruin our day. Not wind, not a schedule, or anyone else's agenda for the day. It was beautiful and perfect and wouldn't have it any other way.

As we had stood in front of one another in the Bodega Bay church on the hill no one else in the room mattered. This is where our Father wanted us to be. I could tell just how nervous Aaron was saying his vows he wanted it to come out perfectly. Little did he know anything he said was perfect to me. We have been through a 13 year journey together that has lead us to this moment. Growing together starting at 18 years old is not an easy task. just like all relationships there are Highs and lows and all of it we did it together holding hands at the end leaving us stronger, wiser and still very much in love. Forever we will share this moment together and as every year passes we will celebrate our continued growth by each others side embracing all our trials and tribulations. Two hearts one dream
